Methodology
Where the data for our diagnoses comes from
Public statistics: Statistics Poland databases, the TERYT register, the 2021 National Census, Regional Territorial Observatories.
Labour market: the Occupational Barometer, statistics from district and regional labour offices, Social Insurance Institution (ZUS) data, vacancies in the Central Job Offers Database.
Funds and procurement: kpo.gov.pl, the EU Grants Map, the Competitiveness Database, e-Zamówienia and Public Procurement Office reports.
Vocational education: the SIO and RSPO education registers, FRSE data on sector skills centres, CKE vocational exam results.
Our own research: we run telephone interviews (CATI) ourselves and online surveys (CAWI) with a partner, plus in-depth interviews with representatives of companies and institutions.

Will the diagnosis meet the funding call requirements?
We structure the scope of the diagnosis around the documentation of the specific call. Before we start, we ask for the rules and templates so that every required element has its place in the report.
What data do you use in regional diagnoses?
Statistics Poland data, labour market statistics and the Occupational Barometer, company registers and job ads. When the project needs it, we add surveys or interviews with employers from the region.
Who do you prepare these analyses for?
For local authorities, vocational schools and sector skills centres, and business support institutions such as regional development agencies.
Can you assess the results of a support programme?
Yes. We compare the indicators of supported companies with pre-programme data and with companies outside the programme. We describe the results so that they can be used in reporting.
How long does a diagnosis take?
It depends mainly on the field research. A diagnosis based on public data usually takes 10 to 15 working days. The project for a city authority, which included a survey of entrepreneurs and an analysis of investment sites, took 10 weeks.
Do you run surveys and interviews yourselves?
Telephone interviews (CATI) with entrepreneurs and employers are run by our own team. Online surveys (CAWI) are carried out with a research partner. We prepare the questionnaire together with the client.
Will you prepare a summary for decision-makers?
Yes. In addition to the full report we prepare a short summary of the key findings and recommendations, as we did in the project for a city authority.
