Competitor Monitoring Poland

Competitor monitoring is a subscription in which we track selected competitors in Poland every month: offers, prices, company changes, search, social media, customer reviews and AI answers in Polish. There are three packages. Each includes a monthly brief in English. PRO adds recommendations and consultations, and PREMIUM adds alerts and a quarterly strategic report. We start with a three-month pilot. Every report includes comments from industry, scientific and business experts.

What sets MarketHub apart

Expert commentary in every report

Our monitoring reports always include comments from industry, scientific and business experts. They tell you which competitor moves in Poland matter for your business and which you can ignore.

Interpretation. An expert explains what is behind the figures and which changes will last.
A view on the changes. An expert tells you which competitor moves matter and which are just noise.
Practical knowledge. Margins, terms of trade and how customers buy: things statistics do not show.
A scientific view. Technologies, standards and research that may change the market.
A business view. Risks, barriers and what the findings mean for your decision.
Early signals of change. Experts see them before they show up in statistics and industry reports.
An independent opinion. You can show it to your board, bank or investors.

When is it worth monitoring competitors in Poland?

Monitoring pays off where competitors change things often and a late reaction costs you customers or margin.

Head office asks what local competitors are doing

You run the Polish business and report to head office. The brief gives you an English summary you can forward as is.

Prices change every few weeks

You hear about a price change from us, not from a customer asking for a discount.

A new player enters the Polish market

We follow its offer, hiring, campaigns and first customers before it starts taking your orders.

You keep losing tenders

We check who wins public tenders in Poland, at what price and with what offer, so you prepare the next one with that knowledge.

Annual price talks with customers

Before you negotiate next year’s prices, you know what your competitors offer and at what price.

You are not in Poland yet

You want to watch the market for a few months before deciding to enter. See pre-entry monitoring below.

What does competitor monitoring in Poland include?

Polish sources, read by Polish analysts.

We read Polish registers, tender platforms, job boards, trade media and customer reviews in Polish, and you get the conclusions in English.

Pre-entry monitoring

For companies that are not yet in Poland and want to watch the market before they decide.

Before entering Poland you can watch the market for three to six months. We follow the leading players you name or the ones we propose: their prices and offers, distributors and sales channels, tenders, hiring and marketing. By the time you decide, you know how the market moves, not just how it looked on one day.

How the monitoring works

First we choose the package and the competitors together and agree what matters to you: prices, new products, campaigns or management changes. Then we set up monitoring of their websites, offers, register filings, reviews and social media profiles. They can be companies in Poland or abroad.

Every month you get a short brief: what changed at your competitors, what it means for you and what we suggest doing about it. In the PREMIUM package we also send an alert straight away when something important happens, such as a competitor changing its price list or its CEO, and once a quarter we prepare a strategic report that pulls together three months of changes and sets out what we recommend.

How to work with the brief

Monitoring works when someone in the company reads the brief and decides what to do with it.

15 minutes a month

That is how long it takes to read the brief. The most important changes are on the first page.

A call once a month

Optionally we go through the brief in a short call and answer questions.

Who gets the brief

Usually the country manager, sales and marketing, and the strategy team at head office. It is written so it can be forwarded without comment.

Compared with SaaS tools

Monitoring tools collect data. Our monitoring ends with conclusions and recommendations.

What this does not cover

Sometimes you need less, or something else. We will tell you when we send the quote.

Full media monitoring

We report important media news about your competitors. If you need every press mention and clipping, a media monitoring service is a better fit.

Press digest or media monitoring

Large-scale social listening

We follow competitors’ profiles and campaigns. Tracking thousands of mentions across social media is a job for a social listening tool.

Only one competitor

Free alerts, such as Google Alerts, and an occasional look at its website may be enough.

A one-off picture

If you need to understand competitors once, before a decision, a competitor analysis is enough. It can also be the baseline for monitoring.

Questions about competitor monitoring in Poland

About the service

What is competitor monitoring?

Every month we check up to five competitors in Poland: offers, prices, company changes, tenders, hiring, search, social media, customer reviews and AI visibility in Polish. You get a monthly brief in English and, depending on the package, recommendations, alerts on important changes and a quarterly report.

How do the STANDARD, PRO and PREMIUM packages differ?

STANDARD covers up to five competitors: SEO, websites, social media and a monthly report with a summary of changes. PRO adds analysis of communication, campaigns and new products, benchmarking, recommendations and an online consultation. PREMIUM is full competitive intelligence: market, trend and customer review monitoring, alerts, quarterly strategic reports and consultation meetings. We can also combine modules.

What is the expert commentary in your reports?

Opinions from industry, scientific and business experts we choose for the topic of the project. The expert explains what is behind the figures, checks the estimates and conclusions, and says what they may mean for your decision. The commentary is part of every paid MarketHub report.

How many competitors can we track?

The STANDARD package covers up to five competitors. In PRO and PREMIUM we agree the number in the quote.

How often do we get updates?

A brief once a month in every package. The quarterly strategic report is part of PREMIUM and can be added to STANDARD or PRO. In PREMIUM we also send alerts whenever something important happens.

What is an alert?

A short message about an important change, such as a new price list, a new CEO or a tender won. We send it straight away, without waiting for the brief. What counts as important is agreed with you at the start. Alerts are part of the PREMIUM package.

Do you monitor competitors outside Poland?

Yes. We follow competitors in Poland and abroad.

Is the brief in English?

Yes. All reports and alerts are in English, so you can forward them to head office without translation. Polish sources are summarised in English.

Contract

Can we start without a 12-month contract?

Yes, with a 3-month pilot. After it you decide whether to continue.

What does the pilot include?

Three months in the scope of your package: set-up and the baseline, then monthly briefs. After the pilot you decide whether to continue.

Can we change competitors during the contract?

Yes. The rules for changes are set out in the contract.

Can we monitor before entering Poland?

Yes. Pre-entry monitoring follows the leading players in your segment for a few months before you decide. It works the same way as regular monitoring.

How does payment work?

Monthly subscription on a 12-month contract, starting with a 3-month pilot. The details are set out in the contract.

Method

Is it legal?

Yes. We use only publicly available sources: company websites, registers, tender platforms, job ads, media and public ad libraries. More in the article Using OSINT in business.

How is it different from Brand24 or Semrush?

Such tools collect data from one area, such as web mentions or Google rankings. We combine data from many sources, including Polish registers and tenders, and write what it means for your company.

Who prepares the brief?

MarketHub analysts who read Polish sources. The team you will work with is introduced earlier on this page.
