Benchmarking analysis

Greater efficiency through proven solutions and strategies.

What is benchmarking analysis?

Benchmarking analysis (also called comparative analysis) is a research method that compares your company with the best players in the market. The aim is to improve processes by adopting the most effective solutions and proven strategies used by market leaders. To give our clients not just data but full know-how, MarketHub’s benchmarking process has several steps:

identifying companies, including information on their offer, prices and strategy,
collecting, harmonising and analysing the data,
drawing conclusions and preparing recommendations ready to implement.

When should you use benchmarking?

Benchmarking provides specific, reliable information that helps improve processes in many areas of a company. It helps you:

prepare a strategy for entering a new market,
build a go-to-market strategy for a new offer,
develop an effective marketing and promotion strategy,
choose the best business model for sales,
identify the most profitable marketing and sales channels,
choose the media worth promoting your offer in,
gather information on the optimal product features (e.g. functionality, technical parameters, price),
collect recommendations for website UX design,
prepare documents for an investor or a grant application.

Why choose us for benchmarking?

In benchmarking projects, the tools, skills and experience of the team matter a great deal, because the quality of the data and recommendations determines how effective the resulting changes are. When we carry out benchmarking at MarketHub:

we reach even hard-to-find data,
we use thousands of reliable sources of information,
we work with data in as many as 9 languages,
we draw on our extensive benchmarking experience,
we use many expensive, professional tools. In marketing alone these include tools for advertising research, ad spend estimation, keyword research, display advertising research, social media mention tracking, website visitor analysis, website valuation, website traffic measurement, industry share of voice, SEM advertising research and website functionality analysis.

What types of benchmarking do we do?

At MarketHub we run general, functional, competitive, internal and external benchmarking projects, including:

comparing locations and headcount,
comparing branches, warehouses and logistics centres,
comparing financial data, grants, state aid and co-financing,
