Market analysis for the metals industry and steel structures

We prepare market analyses for steelworks, steel distributors, structural steel fabricators, foundries and metalworking plants. We find out where demand will come from, how prices and imports are changing and who competes with you for the same orders.

Questions companies in this industry bring to us

Should we build a new production line, and where is the demand? We estimate demand by customer sector and region, with a forecast for the next 3–5 years.
How will steel product prices change over the year? We show what drives prices in your segment and prepare scenarios for the next 12 months.
Who gets orders from general contractors? Using tenders, investment projects and financial statements, we identify subcontractors and assess their scale.
Does it pay to export to Germany or Scandinavia? We check these countries’ imports by CN code, price levels, buyer requirements and the suppliers already selling there.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where do you get data on the steel and steel structures market?

We use data from Statistics Poland, Eurostat and worldsteel, foreign trade statistics by CN code, company financial statements from the National Court Register and investment databases. Where figures are missing, we talk to contractors, distributors and buyers.

Can you assess demand in a specific region?

Yes. We also collect data on companies, investments and production for a voivodeship or district, where public statistics allow it. For Huta Pokój Konstrukcje we prepared a forecast of demand for steel structures for the whole of Poland, split into six sectors, up to 2035.

Do you analyse export markets?

Yes. We also research foreign markets, such as Germany or Scandinavia. We check who buys there, at what prices and which suppliers already operate there.

How long does a market analysis in this industry take?

Usually 10 to 15 working days. Larger projects take longer: we delivered the first version of the forecast for Huta Pokój Konstrukcje after 20 working days.

Do you forecast steel prices?

We do not give a single price for the next quarter, because with today’s market volatility such a figure would carry too large an error. We describe what drives prices in your segment and prepare scenarios for the coming year.

Do you sign non-disclosure agreements?

Yes. At the client’s request we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before we discuss details. We show client names only with their consent.

Which should I choose: a ready-made report or an in-depth market analysis?

A ready-made report is enough when you need a general picture of the market, for example construction machinery. If your decision concerns a specific investment, location or customer group, an in-depth market analysis is the better fit.
